Why Eyes on ELderly?

Who are we?

We are Eyes on Elderly company offering online non-medical care and companionship,

What we do?

We watch over your loved ones to help avoid, or notify the police of falls, help with daily tasks, schedules, and memory, and provide companionship and someone to talk to. From help with cooking and recipes, watching a favorite show together, to making sure the lights are on when they get up at night to go to the bathroom we are a companion in Covid when in person care is to risky or to expensive

Why we do it?

One of the most stressful experiences and also choices in life is how to care for your aging loved ones when they can no longer successfully manage the day to day anymore. The vast majority of seniors wish to stay in their home as long as they can and studies show it is helpful for their mental health if they are able to do so. From a cost perspective allowing your relatives to stay in the place that makes them feel most comfortable for even a year or two more can make a big difference in the quality of their last years. We are using an alternative to help families affordably keep their loved ones at home at a low cost knowing someone is watching over them for companionship, assistance and reminders, and someone watching over them in case something happens that requires family or medical team notification.

Eyes On Elderly keeps seniors engaged and in a routine which greatly helps with their mental health

I try to spend as much time with my grandma as possible via video calls but with 2 kids in virtual school and a full time job i just can't. Eys on Elderly has provided the companionship my grandma needs especially since my grandpa passed away. Every time im able to call I can see the joy in her eyes as she tells me all about her new virtual friends Ivana and Katarina

My grandfather would get up in the middle of the night and fumble around and often fall. It got to the point where he was of sound mind but physically it became such a risk that we thought we would have to put him in a home. Now there is someone to watch him while he is asleep. Once Eyes on Elderly notices him trying to get up they can turn on the lights. Speak to him and direct him to his walker. He hasn't fallen since when it used to be a monthly occurence.
